The applicant must have an intermediate level with MPC / BIPC as a basic academic qualification with

• The course of Ophthalmological Paramedic Assistants of the Institute recognized by the Government. by AP (or)
• The course of B.Sc (Optometry) of the Institute recognized by the Government. by AP (or)
• Diploma in Optometry Technician from the Institute recognized by the Government. by AP (or)
• Diploma in Optometry from the Institute recognized by the Government. by AP
• The candidate must be registered with the AP Paramedical Board.

Applicants must not exceed 42 years of age on 12-01-2020. And for the age, relaxation will be next.

• For SC’s and ST’s & B.Cs 5 (Five years).
• For ex-military 3 (three) years in addition to the duration of the
  service in the armed forces.
• For people with physical disabilities 10 (ten) years.
