About HP University Pawn Recruitment:

University of Himachal Pradesh (HPU) recently announced about the hiring of 228 Posts Pawn, Office Assistant and various other B, C and D category positions. Many candidates completed their application form. The application submission process is done online. The application form submission process starts from 01.07.2022 and runs until 01.29.2022 (before 11:59 pm). Candidates can check the details of the recruitment form at the link provided below.

About the exam:

Many interested and eligible candidates completed the application form and are now awaiting their examination. Soon, the exam will be held on the date. The written exam will take place first.

Selection process:

Category ‘B’ in Mr. No. 1 to 3

  • The selection process for the category ‘B’ positions mentioned in Mr. No. 1 to 3 will be the same as that prescribed by the 2018 UGC Video Regulations adopted by the University Video Notification No. 3-5 / 78 HPU (Genl.) Vol. VIII dated 01-19-2019 and 11-21-2019.

Category ‘B’ in Mr. No. 4 to 9

  • Objective written test in General Knowledge
  • Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) in the field in question and as per the requirement of the position (s)
  • Interview / Personality test

Category ‘C’ in Mr. No. 10 to 23

  • Written objective type examination
  • Typing / Skill Test
  • Document evaluation

Category ‘B’ in Mr. No. 4 to 9

Written exam

Exam pattern: The examination pattern will be as follows:

  • The examination will be objective.
  • The exam will be 40 points / questions.
  • The written test exam will be two hours and half duration.

Note: The candidate’s qualified written test will be called for interview / personality test at a ratio of 1: 6 + 3 for each additional position.

Exam program : The exam syllabus will be as follows:

General knowledge : GK from Himachal Pradesh, India and International GK, the point division will be 20,10,10 respectively)

Subject Aptitude Test (SAT)

  • The subject aptitude test (SAT) will be 100 points / questions

Personality test / Interview

  • Personality test / interview will be 60 points.

Category ‘C’ in Mr. No. 10 to 23

Written exam

Exam pattern: The examination pattern will be as follows:

  • The examination will be objective.
  • Selection test of objective type consisting of 85 multiple-choice questions of 85 points (each question will have 1 point each).
  • The written test exam will be An hour and a half duration.

Note: The exam for the position (s) mentioned in mr. No. 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 will be of Graduation level, for the position (s) mentioned in sr. No. 16 to 20 will be 10 + 2 standard and for the position (s) mentioned in mr. No. 21 to 23 will be 10th standard.

Note: The exam will be 10 + 2 standards.

Note: Applicants in a proportion of 20 times the total number of positions (per category) will be declared qualified in the written objective type selection test (MCQ) and will be called for the typing / skill test, when necessary and subsequently Qualifying candidates for Typing / Skill Test, qualified candidates will be called for document evaluation at a 1: 3 ratio. Final selection will be based on parameters devised by Personnel Department, Govt. of the notification of HP vide No. Per (AP.B) B (15) -5/2014 dated April 17, 2017.

Documentation evaluation

The evaluation of the documentation is based on the parameters devised by the Personnel Department to category-C post (s) mentioned in mr. No. 10 to 23 will be as determined by the Personnel Department, Govt. of the HP vide notification No. according to (AP.B) B (15) -5/2014 dated April 17, 2017 as follows: –
