Brief Details on ITBP ASI Stenographer Recruitment

Indo Tibetan Board Police Force (ITBPF) has invited online application form for 38 ASI recruitment post and stenographer positions. Many candidates requested these pots. The online application process starts from June 8, 2022 to the latest date of July 7, 2022. Candidates can see more details below.

ITBP ASI Stenographer Selection Process:

ITBP ASI Stenographer Recruitment will be done on the basis of the following selection criteria below;

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET),
• Physical standard ‘rest (PST),
• Written exam.
• skill Test,
• Documentation,
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).

ITBP ASI Stenographer Physical Standard Test (PST):

Weight : Corresponding to height and age according to medical standards (for male and female candidates)

eye sight : The minimum vision distance will be 6/6 and 6/9 for both eyes without correction, that is, without glasses or lenses.

ITBP ASI Stenographer Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :-

The details of the physical efficiency test are as follows:

NOTE : No points will be awarded for this test and the PET will be qualifying in nature. Candidates Required to Qualify each PET Event that Fail to Qualify will be Eliminated.

NOTE 2: PET will not be held for former military personnel who applied for direct entry openings.

ITBP ASI Stenographer Exam Syllabus:-

The exam pattern is as follows:-

► The written test will be held on OMR-based or computer-based testing (CBT).
► The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions.
► The duration time will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► The written test will be 100 points
► The written exam will consist of the following four parts:-

Minimum qualification marks for ITBP ASI Steno Post:

Qualifying marks will be 35% for General Candidates & Ex-military and 33% for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes in the written exam.

The work will also include questions on Modern History (from 1857 onwards) of India,

ITBP ASI Stenographer Skill Test:

The skill test will consist of a computer typing test and will be as follows;

• Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute.
• Transcription: 50 minutes in (English) or 65 minutes in (Hindi) on the computer.
  • The Ability Test will be of an Eliminatory Character.

ITBP ASI / Stenographer Exam Merit List:

After completing the skill test, the list of merits in each category will be drawn up based on the marks obtained in the written exam. All Candidates Selected on the List of Merit will be Called for Document Verification and Detailed Medical Examination.

• Certificate of date of birth (Registration/10th Class Certificate).
• Caste certificate.
• Domicile certificate.
• Certificate of Retirement in case of Ex-Service.
• Last four passport size photos.
• Certificate to claim relaxation in height and chest (If it is applicable).
• Certificate of conformity.
