JKSSB Foresters Selection Process:-

JKSSB Forester & Other Posts Recruitment will be done on the basis of the following selection criteria;

• Written exam
• Physical evidence (when applicable)
• Skill test (when applicable)

JKSSB Forester Examination:-

Jammu and Kashmir SSB will conduct the written examination first, all eligible candidates who applied for these previous positions will face the written examination as per the position based selection process. The date of the written exam will be announced shortly on its official website. Candidates can refer to the detailed exam pattern and syllabus below.

Note : The J&K Services Selection Board will notify the Examination Site/Center(s) separately. No representation/request for change in this regard will be accepted, whatever the reason.

Jammu & Kashmir SSB Forester Exam Pattern:-

• The Exam Will Consist of Objective TypeMultiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
• The questions will be set in English only.
• There will be Negative marking of 0.25 points for each wrong answer.
• Ability Test = 20 points Written Examination/CBT = 80 points

(The marks obtained in the Type Test will be attributed proportionally to the 20 points assigned to the Type Test)

JKSSB Forester Curriculum:-

Physical fitness test (where applicable):-

• walk test: Male 25 Kms in 04 hours Female 16 Kms in 04 hours Physical fitness certificate to be issued by CMO.
• Driving test : The candidate will need to pass the driving test to be eligible to take the written test.

Note :- Candidates running for these positions (Where appropriate) must have knowledge of typographical writing with a speed of not less than 35 words per minute. Only those candidates who achieve an accuracy of 90% or higher and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute will be considered qualified for the next stage(s).
