JMI Job Eligibility

Assistant Professor in English / Hindi / Human Resource Management / History / Sociology / Political Science / Public Administration / Commerce / Management: – 1. A master’s degree with 55% grades (or an equivalent grade on a point scale where the grading system is followed) in a related / relevant/related subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an Indian university accredited foreign university.

2. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, the candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET / SET or who are or have obtained a Ph . D. Title in accordance with the Regulations of the University Scholarship Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for the Concession of Master / Doctorate in Philosophy), 2009 or 2016 and its periodic modifications as the case may be, to be exempt from NET / SLET / JOINT.

Assistant Professor of Education: – 1. Postgraduate in Sciences / Humanities / Arts with a minimum of 55% of qualifications.

2. Postgraduate in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) with a minimum of 55% qualifications.
3. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, the candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET / SET or who are or have obtained a Ph . D. Title in accordance with the Regulations of the University Scholarship Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for the Concession of Master / Doctorate in Philosophy), 2009 or 2016 and its periodic modifications as the case may be, to be exempt from NET / SLET / JOINT.
