About admission to KVS:
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has recently announced the admission of Class II to XI for the next session 2021-2022. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria requested for admission. A large number of Candidates filled out their application form for admission From 04.01.2021 to 04.19.2021 For Class I, registration for Class II onwards (except for Class Xl) starts from 04-08- 2021 until 04.15.2021. More details about the notification are provided below.
About the exam:
An admission test was conducted for Class IX. There was only a 3-hour, 100-point admissions test comprising Hindi, English, math, social studies, and science, each worth 20 points. The admission test was not carried out for admission to classes I to VIII.
KVS Admission Selection process :
In Class I:
The admission test will not be carried out for Class I.
In class II to VIII
The admission test will not be performed for admission to class II to VIII and admission can be granted according to the priority category system (1 to 5 or 6, as the case may be). If applications exceed the number of seats, the lottery system will be followed in each category, including the single girls quota (class VI onwards).
Class XI
Admission to different courses, namely Science, Commerce, Humanities Class XI at KV for KV students, will be based on the total scores obtained in the Class X exams.
Note:- If seats remain vacant in class XI even after admitting children of neighboring KV / KV, admissions to non-KV children can be granted using the same criteria, in the sequence of priority categories.
