MMMUT Eligibility 2020 – Malaviya Entrance Test (MET)

Technology B. (First year)

The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 exams with at least 55% marks (50% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) and with at least 60% average marks (55% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Technology B. (Second Year) Side Entry

For admission to the second year of B.Tech. Low side entry:

• Diploma holders: Passed the 3/4 year diploma exam from an institution recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of engineering/technology except agricultural engineering with at least 60% marks (55% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category).
• B.Sc. graduates: Approved 3/4 year B.Sc. degree from any recognized Indian University as defined by UGC with at least 60% grades (55% for candidates belonging to SC / ST category) and have passed the 10 + 2 exam with Mathematics as the subject. The candidates belonging to the B.Sc. The stream will be considered only after filling the seats with the candidates belonging to the diploma stream.

BBA

The candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 exam in any discipline, with at least 55% marks (50% in the case of a candidate belonging to the SC / ST category) and English must be one of the 10 + level subjects two.

MBA

The candidate must have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from the any University of India recognized by UGC with at least 50% qualifications (45% in the cases of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) in the qualification exam.

MCA

The candidate must have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University in India as defined by UGC with mathematics at level 10 + 2 and obtained a minimum of 50% qualifications (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) in the qualification exam.

M.Tech.

Candidates must have a first-class B.E / B.Tech in a relevant discipline. Admission to M.Tech courses will be awarded based on the joint merit of the GATE and MET score. The weight of the GATE and MET scores will be 40% and 60% respectively.

M.Sc.

• M.Sc. Physical: The candidate must have passed the recognized bachelor’s degree in science stream of a minimum of three years duration from any UGC recognized the University of India. Candidates must have passed the qualification exam with Physics as a subject during the three years and with Mathematics as another subject for at least two years and have obtained a minimum grade of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC category / ST) in the qualification exam.
• M.Sc. Maths: The candidate must have passed the recognized Bachelor of Science degree of a minimum of three years duration from any UGC recognized the University of India. Candidates must have passed the qualification exam with Mathematics as a subject during the three years and have obtained a minimum grade of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) in the qualification exam.
• M.Sc. Chemistry: The candidate must have passed the recognized Bachelor of Science degree of minimum three years duration from any UGC recognized University in India. Candidates must have passed the qualification exam with Chemistry as a subject during the three years and have obtained a minimum grade of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST category) in the qualification exam.

Doctor. courses

Candidates holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering / Technology / Science / Management or equivalent in the corresponding discipline with the 1st Division in the Master’s degree are eligible for admission to the Doctoral Program. The weighting of the marks in the entrance exam and the interview will be 70% and 30%, respectively, for the preparation of the merit in a given specialization.

MMMUT MET Exam Pattern 2020
