Northeast Frontier Railway Job Eligibility

The candidate must have passed the tenth class exam or its equivalent (under the 10 + 2 exam system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in total, from the recognized Board and also possess the National Certificate of Commerce (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for the Professional or Provisional Training Certificate issued by the National Council for Professional Training / State Council for Professional Training. Copies of the grade sheet and approved tuition certificates (10th), provisional certificate / national trade certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT / SCVT in the case of ITI, and final ITI grade sheet must be uploaded. The mere completion of the course is not enough. Candidates should have already passed the prescribed grade on the date of issuance of the notice.

Northeast Frontier Railway Job Rules:

1. The decision of the railway administration in all matters related to eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of applications and selection methods will be final.
2. Providing training in Railways will not confer any right to candidates for absorption into Railways once the training has been successfully completed. In terms of paragraph 10 of Annex V of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1991, notified on 07.15.92 by the Ministry of Labor, it will not be mandatory for the employer to offer employment to the Apprentice at the end of the period of their apprenticeship training in their establishment. It will not be mandatory for the apprentice to accept a job with the employer. Teaching Railways Training will not confer any right to candidates for absorption into Railways once the Training is completed.
3. Training in railway establishments under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 does not, by itself, confer any right whatsoever for appointment in railway services by default. The apprenticeship contract will end once the training is completed. However, there is a provision of 20% of the vacancies in case of direct hiring through open advertisements that are filled giving preference to completed act trainees.
4. Commitment matches will not be accepted.
5. CANVASSING IN ANY WAY WILL DISQUALIFY THE CANDIDATURE AND THERE WILL BE NO CORRESPONDENCE AT THE TIME.
6. The candidacy of the candidate will be canceled if the original testimonials required for verification are not submitted or if any other discrepancy is detected.
7. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility and other criteria. If hired in error, such candidates will be summarily dismissed without notice at any time.
