Anesthesia:- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD (Anesthesia) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or a recognized qualification equivalent to MCI for a teaching position 3 years of experience in teaching and research, in an Institution recognized in the subject of the specialty in question after obtaining the qualified graduate degree of MD.

CTVS: – A postgraduate degree i.e M.Ch Cardiothoracic Surgery from an Indian university/institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. 1 year of teaching and research experience after obtaining the M.Ch degree in case of 2 years M.Ch. However, no additional experience is needed for candidates holding the recognized M.Ch. or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Cardiology:- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. DM (Cardiology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position 1 year of experience in teaching and research, after obtaining the title of DM in the case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is required for candidates holding the recognized 3-year DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification. Endocrinology A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Endocrinology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. 1 year of teaching and research experience after obtaining the title of DM in the case of 2 years of DM course. However, no additional experience is required for candidates holding the recognized 3-year DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification.

ENT (Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for Head and Neck Subspecialty): – A postgraduate degree, that is, a master’s degree in head and neck oncology

Gastroenterology: – A postgraduate qualification, i.e. DM (Gastroenterology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. Teaching and research experience of 1 year, after obtaining the title of DM in case of a 2-year DM course. However, no additional experience is needed for candidates holding the 3-year recognized DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification.

Gastroenterology (Pediatrics): – A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD Pediatrics with DM (Gastroenterology) / DM (Pediatrics Gastroenterology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a position of teaching 1 year of experience in teaching and research, after obtaining the qualification degree in the case of a DM course of 2 years. However, no additional experience is necessary for candidates holding the 3-year recognized DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification.

General Surgery:- A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Surgery) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or a recognized qualification equivalent to MCI for a teaching position 3 years of experience in teaching and research, in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualification degree of EM

Hematology:- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. DM (Hematology) or MD (Pathology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the field of the specialty after obtaining the title of MD including 1 year in the corresponding Specialty.

Hepatology: – A postgraduate qualification i.e DM Hepatology / Gastroenterology / Pediatric Hepatology from an Indian University / Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position.

Histopathology: – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Pathology) or DM (Histopathology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution after obtaining the title of MD or No additional experience is required after DM Histopathology.

Hospital administration: – A postgraduate qualification, that is, MD in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent to the same 3 years of teaching and / or research experience in Hospital Administration at a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualified graduate degree of MD in Hospital Administration or Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Internal Medicine:- A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Medicine) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by MCI for a teaching position.

3 years of experience in teaching/training and research at a recognized Institution after obtaining the MD degree.

Emergency:- A graduate degree, i.e. MD Medicine or MD Emergency Medicine from an MCI recognized institute 3 years of teaching and research experience at a recognized institution after earning the MD Medicine or MD Emergency Medicine habilitation degree (preferably 2 years of experience/training in Emergency Medicine)

Medical oncology (non-hematologic malignancies): – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Medicine) with DM Medical Oncology from an MCI recognized institute. No experience is required for candidates holding the recognized 3-year DM degree.

Internal Medicine (Benign – Hematology): – A graduate degree i.e. MD (Medicine) with DM Clinical Hematology from an MCI recognized Institute. No experience is required for candidates holding the recognized 3-year DM degree.

Hemato-Oncology: – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Medicine) with DM Clinical Hematology from an MCI recognized institute. No experience is needed for candidates holding the recognized title of DM after 3 years

Medical Microbiology {Mycobacteriology (non-medical)}: – Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized / equivalent) viz. M.Sc. (Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Medical Microbiology) Ph.D. in the subject matter from a University of India or its equivalent Ph.D. Title from a foreign university recognized as such by the Commission for University Scholarships. 3 years of experience in teaching and / or post-doctoral research from a recognized Institution in the subject of the specialty in question.

Medical microbiology {Enteric section (non-medical)}: – Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized / equivalent) viz. M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Microbiology / Clinical Microbiology, Medical Microbiology). Doctorate in the subject in question from an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. Degree from a foreign university recognized as such by the Commission for University Scholarships in a field related to vaccinology/proteomics / molecular biology/immunology. 3 years of experience in research and post-doctoral teaching at a recognized institution in the field of vaccinology/proteomics / molecular biology/immunology.

Nephrology: – A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Nephrology) from an Indian University / Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for the teaching position. 1-year experience in teaching and research, after obtaining the title of DM in case of a 2-year DM course. However, no additional experience is needed for candidates holding the 3-year recognized DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification.

Neurology:- A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Neurology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by MCI for the teaching position. Teaching and research experience of 1 year, after obtaining the title of DM in the case of a 2-year DM course. However, no additional experience is required for candidates holding the recognized 3-year DM degree or equivalent recognized qualification.

Nuclear medicine:- A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Nuclear Medicine from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by MCI for a teaching position. 3 years of experience in teaching and research at a recognized institution in the subject of the specialty in question after obtaining the qualifying graduate degree, that is, MD.

Obst. And Gynecology: – A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD / MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for teaching after 3 years of Teaching and research experience at a recognized institution in the field of specialty after obtaining an MD degree.

Ophthalmology:- A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS / MD (Ophthalmology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for the teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the MS / MD degree.

Orthopedics:- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MS (Orthopedics) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or equivalent qualification recognized by MCI for the teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the field of specialty after obtaining the title of MS.

OHSC (Public and Community Health Dentistry): – Postgraduate degree i.e. MDS in the dental specialty in question from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Dental Council of India or equivalent recognized qualification for a teaching position 3 years of teaching and research experience in the specialty in question after obtaining the qualification title, that is, MDS in that specialty.

Conservative dentistry and endodontics: – A postgraduate qualification i.e. MDS in the dental specialty in question from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Dental Council of India or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching position 3 years of teaching experience and research in the specialty in question after obtaining the qualifying degree, that is, MDS in that specialty.

Pediatric Medicine: – A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD Pediatrics from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI, recognized qualification equivalent to the same to teach after 3 years of teaching and research experience in an institution recognized in the subject of specialty after qualifying title of MD.

Pediatric Biochemistry (Metabolic Disorders) (Medical / Non-Medical): – FOR PHYSICIANS: – A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD (Biochemistry) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or a recognized qualification from MCI equivalent thereto for teaching after 3 years of teaching and / or research experience in the field in a recognized Institution after obtaining the title of MD FOR NON-MEDICAL Master’s degree (regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent) that is, M.Sc in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Human Genetics from a University / Institution recognized as a regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent. Doctor. degree in the discipline/subject in question from an Indian university/institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University / Institute recognized by the University Scholarship Commission EXPERIENCE 03 years of teaching and/or research experience in the field at a recognized Institution after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree

Pediatric [Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology (Non-Clinical for Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases]: – A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD (Pathology) / MD (Microbiology) / MD (Biochemistry) 3 years of teaching and research experience at the recognized Institution after obtaining the MD degree.

Pediatric clinical immunology and rheumatology (non-medical for molecular immunology): – Master’s degree (regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent) viz. Master in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Human Genetics / Immunology / Immunogenetics / MBBS from a recognized University / Institution. Doctor. degree in the discipline/subject in question from an Indian university/institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Scholarship Commission EXPERIENCE 03 years of teaching and research experience in the respective field at a recognized Institution after obtaining a Ph.D. Degree

Pediatrics (Hematology and Oncology): – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Pediatrics) and DM (Hematology-Oncology) or DM (Medical Oncology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or an MCI recognized qualification equivalent to the same for a teaching position 3 years of experience in teaching and research in a recognized Institution after obtaining the Medical Degree.

Pediatrics (Emergency and ICU): – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Pediatrics) with DM Pediatric Critical Care / DM Pediatric Pulmonology and Intensive Care / DM Pediatric Intensive Care from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of an India or a qualification recognized by MCI equivalent to the same for a teaching position

Psychiatry:- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD (Psychiatry) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by MCI for a teaching position 3 years of experience in teaching and research in a recognized institution in the subject of the specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Clinical Psychology (Non-Medical): – Master’s degree (regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent) in Psychology. M.Phil Clinical Psychology (2-year full-time course conducted in a Department / Institute of Psychiatry). Ph.D. in the discipline/subject in question from a University / Institute of India or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Scholarship Commission EXPERIENCE 03 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Medical Institution in the specialty subject after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree

Pulmonary Medicine: – A medical qualification included in the first or second program or Part II of the third program of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing the qualifications included in Part II of the third program must also meet the conditions specified in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Law.). A postgraduate qualification, i.e. DM (Pulmonary Medicine) from an Indian University / Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council / MCI. EXPERIENCE: No experience is required for a candidate holding a recognized 3-year DM (Pulmonary Medicine) degree.

Plastic surgery:- A medical qualification included in the first or second program or Part II of the third program of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing the qualifications included in Part II of the third program must also meet the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Act.). A postgraduate degree i.e. M.Ch (Plastic Surgery) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position.

Radiodiagnosis: – A postgraduate qualification, that is, MD (Radiology) (before the fork) / MD. Radiodiagnosis / MD Radiodiagnosis and imaging from an Indian university/institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or a recognized qualification equivalent to the MCI for a teaching position 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized institution in the specialty subject after obtaining the qualification grade of MD.

Kidney Transplant Surgery: – MS (General Surgery) or M.Ch (Urology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for teaching after 3 years of teaching and research experience in transplant surgery after obtaining the qualifying title of MS (General Surgery) or during the M.Ch Urology.

Transfusion medicine: – A postgraduate degree i.e. MD (Transfusion Medicine) or MD (Pathology) or MD (Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or a qualification recognized by MCI equivalent for a teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution, after obtaining the title of MD. Those with MD (Pathology), 2 years of experience in Transfusion Medicine or in the Department of Blood Transfusion are required.

Urology:- A graduate degree, that is, M.Ch. (Urology) from a University / Institute of India recognized by the Medical Council of India or a recognized qualification equivalent to MCI for the teaching position

1 year of teaching and research after obtaining the M.Ch degree in case of 2 years of M.Ch course. However, no additional experience is necessary for candidates holding the recognized 3-year M.Ch degree or a recognized qualification equivalent to it.

Urological anesthesia: – A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Anesthesia) from an Indian University / Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or an equivalent MCI recognized qualification thereto for a teaching position. 3 years of teaching and research experience at a recognized institution after obtaining an MD degree.

Urology (non-medical) (Basic Urological Research Scientist): – Postgraduate degree, that is, M.Sc/M.S. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Genetics, Physiology, Engineering. Ph.D. from a University / Institute of India or it’s equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Scholarship Commission EXPERIENCE 03 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized Medical Institution in the subject in question after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree

Virology (non-medical): – Master’s degree (regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc Medical Microbiology / Medical Virology.
