• Applicants whose All India ranks are in the range of 1 to 500 on any of the CSIR-UGCNET / GATE / JEST tests are highly likely to be called in for the interview. And applicants must have qualified in any of the following exams:

1. National Eligibility Test (NET) CSIR-UGC JRF / AP [December 2019/June 2020/December
2020] in Physical Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and
Planetary sciences.
2. UGC JRF / AP National Eligibility Test (NET) [December 2019/June 2020/December 2020]
in Environmental Sciences.
3. Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test (GATE) [GATE 2019/GATE 2020/GATE 2021] in
Physics / Geology and Geophysics / Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences / Chemistry.
4. Joint entrance screening test [JEST 2021] in physics.
