Qualification for RAC Recruitment 2020

Table 1 (Part I): Recruitment in the disciplines mentioned below will be based on a valid GATE score, a descriptive exam, and a personal interview:

Electronics and Communications. Engg: – At least a first-class degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engg from a recognized or equivalent university. Applicants must also meet ONE of the following additional requirements:

  1. GATE Score: Valid GATE Score in Electronic and Communication Engineering [Paper code: EC]
  2. At least 80% of the marks added in the EQ grade if done from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or National Institute of Technology (NIT).

Engg Mechanic: – At least a first-class degree in engineering or mechanical engineering technology from a recognized or equivalent university. Applicants must also meet ONE of the following additional requirements:

  1. GATE Score: Valid GATE Score in Mechanical Engineering [Paper code: ME]
  2. Minimum 80% of the marks added in the EQ degree if it is done from an IIT or NIT.

The selection process for RAC Recruitment 2020

  1. Candidates shortlisted based on GATE scores and / or Descriptive Examination or NET Score Percentage must appear in the personal interview to be held in Delhi or elsewhere as decided by the RAC / DRDO.
  2. The offer of appointment to the selected candidates will be limited to the number of vacancies in order of merit. However, the appointment will be subject to satisfactory conditions such as the qualification of the Medical Examination prescribed for technical positions in Group “A” of the Government. from India with responsibility for Field Service and character background checks in addition to SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD (HH) / PwD (OH) etc. certificate verification, where applicable.

General instructions for RAC Recruitment 2020:

  1. The online application submission link is available on the RAC website (https://rac.gov.in)
  2. Applications that are not blocked/completed by candidates according to the instructions will be automatically rejected by the computer system and no correspondence will be maintained.
