For direct contracting: Bachelor of Engineering / Technology with 1st class in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics and Communications / Telecommunications / Computer Science / Information Technology or Master of Computer Applications with 1st class or M. Sc. With 1st class in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Electronics / Applied Electronics / Information Technology with 10 years of experience OR Master of Technology / Engineering with 1st class in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics and Communications / Telecommunications / Computer Science with 08 years of experience Or Ph.D. in Science / Engineering in any of the disciplines / interdisciplinary mentioned above along with the qualification mentioned in (a) or (b) above with 05 years of experience. The candidate who possesses the qualification of (a) or (b) above followed by an MBA / Law degree would be eligible for two (2) years of relaxation inexperience.

STPI Job Rules:

1. People working in central / state government / UPM / autonomous organizations can submit their applications through the appropriate channel along with the ACR / APAR of the last 5 years and their latest surveillance profile. [(i) penalty imposed if any during the last 10 years (ii) details disciplinary action initiated/ being initiated if any etc.]. However, a copy of the application may be submitted in advance for consideration.
2. Appointments made on the basis of direct recruitment will be made by contract for a period of three years that is likely to be regularized/extended/terminated based on the candidate’s performance during the contract service. The immediate absorption rule will apply depending on the government. existing rules.
3. Candidates who have requested the transfer (absorption) are requested to send the necessary documents together with the document proving the date of appointment in the current degree and also a certificate of equivalence of the IDA pay scale with the pay scale CDA (if applicable).
4. Age will be counted on the last date of receipt of the application. The last recognition of age will not be extended in view of the extension of an additional period of 10 days for the submission of the application granted to applicants residing in remote areas. The upper age limit regarding candidates who work at Govt./STPI on a regular basis or candidates who belong to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and people with disabilities will be relaxed as per current instructions. Relaxation in the upper age limit will also be granted to the contracted employee hired by STPI with a consolidated monthly remuneration equivalent to the period of his continuous service performed at STPI, which will not exceed five years.
5. The eligibility of the candidates in terms of educational qualifications, experience, age, etc. It will be determined on the basis of the information provided by the candidate on the deadline for receiving applications. The addition of information after the deadline for receipt of applications will not be allowed. Incomplete/unsigned applications will not be accepted and the application form without copies of the required certificates will be rejected.
6. The number of posts may vary. STPI reserves the right not to fill any of the positions if it so decides. STPI reserves the right to operate the higher grade position (s) in the lower grade and to offer the nomination to the candidate in a lower grade, should the Selection Committee recommend it.
7. The management reserves the right to set the criteria to pre-select the candidates who will be summoned for an interview.
8. In the event that any candidate is ineligible for any reason even after appointment, their service will be terminated immediately without any reason being assigned. Candidates are cautioned not to provide any false/misleading information/documents or submit any documents that are defective or fabricated or commit any act of misconduct when submitting the application form or during the recruitment process. In the event that STPI detects any of these cases at any stage, during or after recruitment OR in the event that any candidate is not eligible for any reason, appropriate action will be taken against the candidate. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Delhi courts.
9. Correspondence from candidates in connection with the selection/test/interview/appointment process will not be accepted. Scrutiny in any form or bringing other influence will make the candidacy liable for rejection.
10. Successful candidates will be responsible for being published in any STPI center.
