About UPSC CDS Recruitment 2022: –

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced and invited online applications from eligible candidates for the Defense Services Combined Review (II), 2022. The total number of vacancies in defense services combined was 341 Posts. Many interested and eligible candidates applied for these publications online. The online application process for these positions started from December 22, 2021 to January 11, 2022 until 6:00 p.m. Check the other details below.

About the UPSC CDS Exam 2022:

Candidates who applied for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Defense Services Combined Exam (I), 2022 now they are waiting for the exam dates. Many candidates are searching and inquiring about exam dates from various sources. UPSC CDS Recruitment 2022 Selection process :

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called up for the SSB interview. Qualifications for the SSB interview are given below:

• SSB Interview Score for IMA, NA and AFA: 300 points
• SSB Interview Score for OTA- 200 points

• Defense questions like Army Day, Navy Day, recent developments, etc.

Elementary Mathematics Syllabus

Arithmetic

• Number system: natural, integer, rational and real numbers
• Fundamental operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square roots, decimal fractions
• Unit method, time and distance, time and work, percentages, applications to simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, variation
• Elementary number theory: division algorithm
• Prime and composite numbers
• Tests for divisibility by 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 11
• Multiples and factors
• Factoring theorem
• CF and LCM
• Euclidean algorithm
• Logarithms to base 10, laws of logarithms, use of logarithmic tables

Algebra

• Basic operations, simple factors, remainder theorem, HCF, LCM
• Polynomial theory, solutions of quadratic equations, the relationship between their roots and coefficients (Only real roots will be considered)
• Simultaneous linear equations in two unknowns: analytical and graphical solutions Simultaneous linear equations in two variables and their solutions
• Practical problems leading to two simultaneous linear equations or equations in two variables or quadratic equations in one variable and their solutions
• Establish language and notation, rational expressions and conditional identities, index laws

Trigonometry

Geometry
